We are a registered charity based in the City of Dundee, providing long term support and challenging musical activities to disadvantaged young people who have an interest in music and may have been affected by issues such as crime, addiction, unemployment or homelessness, providing them with a route back into mainstream society.Musical activities are used as the vehicle for these young people to experience problem solving and team working in a challenging environment. Our aim is to involve as many young people as possible, giving them this opportunity to change their lives by instilling in them self-confidence, self-esteem and self-respect through the discipline making music.At Riptide Music Studios we provide a unique training resource for some of the most difficult to reach young people whose lives can be permanently altered by this introduction to the world of making music, at the same time developing young peoples personal and social skills while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.Riptide Music Studios Ltd.
