Eddie Lynch Snr. is the founder and the main driving force of the charity, with an extensive background in music, owning and managing various music venues in Dundee, as well as organising various music festivals. Also previously running a management company, he is well placed to oversee the day to day running of the studio which he has done very successfully.

Eddie Lynch Jnr. Has been playing drums since the age of 9 (some 26 years) and been a professional drummer since the age of 18, working with all manner of bands, touring Europe and America, recording and teaching, and has an HNC in modern musicianship.

Davie Bruce has played guitar, banjo, harmonica and bass for the past 20 years and gained experience in all aspects of the music industry (live performance, studio work, recording, live sound, instrument and equipment maintenance etc.)

Stephen Gowanswas one of the studios early New Deal placements, bringing a wide range of technical, design, IT and instrumental skills to the studio and providing a friendly face for the workshop programme.

Mark Feldman
is a multi-instrumentalist who has been volunteering at Riptide since late 2007, and is involved in new project development and music tuition.

Helen ByrneCame to Riptide on a Project Scotland placement in 2006 and continues as a volunteer assisting with admin duties, help run the music workshops and the set up of sound equipment and musical instruments

Pauline Brown
Has played a major role in the studio's operations, holding down a full time job while volunteering her time and skills as an admin assistant and isĀ our SQA co-ordinator.

Jade Walker A professional musician and a member of the founding group, working as our music theory and bass tutor, also mentor and role model to many of the volunteers. Jade still acts for the charity as our SQA assessor
